Dr. Rongo H. Wetere, ONZM, FNZIM
Dr Rongo Wetere is of Ngati Maniapoto Tribe in Aotearoa (NZ). Dr. Wetere is currently the Vice-Chancellor of the World Indigenous Nations University (WINU), and he is actively involved in Indigenous Language Revitalization.

Danny Heke
An experienced professional, Danny is our Managing Director and a pivotal member of our community. Danny brings knowledge and experience from his extensive Naval service in the Royal NZ Navy and superior business acumen from his Mining Career with Multinational Company BHP.

A passionate community-orientated professional, Violet brings 40 years of experience engaging, empowering and training within Education, Health, Community, & Christian organisations. Violet is a pivotal part of our community. We are so happy to have Violet as an integral member of our Family.

Trish Heke
Trish Heke is the Secretary at Mozzy Foundation. Trish Heke is an incredibly valued asset to our team and has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience from Queensland Education and Queensland Corrective Services to the Mozzy Foundation.

Danny Heke
Danny is passionate about cultural education and contributing to meaningful change in our community. He is an advocate for educational approaches that embrace the strengths of Māori and Pacific values
LEAD FACILITATOR

Trish Heke
Trish has an extensive background in both military and educational settings. After serving in the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) as a Leading Medical Assistant, she transitioned to primary education, where she specialised in literacy intervention and taught kapa haka. For the past four years, Trish has been with Queensland Corrective Services, currently working in the Mental Health/High Risk Unit at Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre. Her role in this unit allows her to make significant contributions to the mental health field, particularly in supporting and rehabilitating women in high-risk environments.

Tania is our highly experienced teacher who is committed to nurturing classroom environments for students to feel comfortable. Tania has a strong focus on student wellbeing, creating a safe space for them to be the best versions of themselves.

Miria is an Inspiring Indigenous Coach with years of experience in holding space to all age groups. Miria is passionate about sharing her knowledge and talents within the Community.

Leona Morete
Leona Morete is of Te Aitanga a Hauiti, Ngati Konohi & Ngati Porou descent. A weaver of harakeke and creative extraordinare, she enjoys using a variety of mediums. Leona enjoys teaching and encouraging others to explore their own creativity and the therapeutic benefits found in the many art forms within toi Maori.

Jo Brown
Jo has 20 years of e-commerce experience. She also set up a center for orphaned children in Botswana and worked in administration at the NZ College of Chiropractic. Jo manages the Mozzy Foundation's website and oversees IT and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations across the organization.
